David Henzlik has joined Elevate, bringing with him 36 years of highly valued commercial real estate experience. David’s career started in St. Louis at the Leo Eisenberg Company, one of the largest shopping center developers in the country. After four years at Leo Eisenberg, David accepted a position as Director of Leasing for JDN Realty Corporation in Atlanta a REIT that specialized in developing and asset managing retail projects anchored by grocery and value-oriented tenants. During his thirteen years as JDN’s Director of Leasing, David handled an 11.1-million-square-foot portfolio spanning 19 states, where he created and expanded relationships with countless national retailers. When DDR (now Site Centers Corp.) acquired JDN, David seized the opportunity to capitalize on those relationships and create his own company, Henzlik Company Real Estate Services, specializing in Development, Acquisition, and leasing of retail/mixed-use shopping centers. Along the way, David has employed his ability to listen, problem-solve, and deliver outstanding results to his clients by acting as a Partner, Managing Director, and Director of Leasing. Elevate is excited to Welcome David, as he brings a clear understanding of Development, Acquisition and retail/mixed use leasing to our group. David and his wife Andrea have been married for over 36 years. Andrea is a successful Interior Designer and owner of her Atlanta-based firm. Together, they couldn’t be more proud of their four kids Morgan, Taylor, Coleby and Shae and their three grandchildren, Tolliver, Wade and Poppy. David is an Xterra Triathlete, Ironman competitor and Eagle Scout.
